Srinagar|Feb, 26 : A bank security guard was shot dead by militants at Achan area of Litter village in South Kashmir’s Puwama district.
Militants fired upon the man, in which he received injuries. He was immediately shifted to district hospital Pulwama for treatment where he was declared dead, the reports said . The killing of the Bank Security Guard was confiremed by Medical Superintendent of District Hospital, Pulwama, Dr Tula who said the man was brought dead to the hospital.
Confirming the killing the Kashmir Zone Police on it’s twitter handle said that the militants fired upon one civilian from the minority namely Sanjay Sharma son of Kashinath Sharma resident of Achan Pulwama while on the way to the local market, Stating therein further that the civilian was shifted to hospital wherehe succumbed to injuries. Kashmir Zone Police in it’s tweet also said that the slain civilian was an armed guard in his village, stating therein that the area was cordoned off to nab the attackers and details shall follow.
