Dir H&H Jmu inspects B2V4 works at Panchayat Dianiin Distt Samba

Jammu : The Prabhari Officer, (Director Handicrafts & Handloom, Jammu) Dr. Vikas Gupta on Saturday visited PanchayatDiani in District Samba to work proposed under Back Village Phase IV. PRI members and officers/officials of the line departments, beneficiaries and general public attended the Gram Sabha organized during the visit. Prominent citizens of the Panchayat also attended the sabha.
Prabhari Officer enquired from Officer/Officials of the line departments regarding various schemes of their department which can provide employment to the peoples of DianiPanchayat.
Representatives of the Horticulture Department, Social Welfare Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Agriculture Department, ICDS, Fisheries Department, Handicrafts & Handloom Department and J&K Bank educated the PRIs and general public regarding different schemes of self employment like PMEGP (Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme), UMEED Scheme, PMMSY (PradhanMantriMatsyaSampadaYojana), Fruit Preservation Scheme, Weaver Mudra Scheme, Credit Card Scheme for Artisans and Weavers.
The Prabhari officer distributed Weaver/Artisan Registration cards, Loan Sanction letters (under Credit Card Scheme), Crop Insurance policy bonds, Cooperative registration cards and Bank pass books among the beneficiaries of the Panchayat.
Directions were given to the representatives of line departments to organize awareness camps in the Panchayat b to inform the general public about self employment schemes to achieve saturation of demand for self employment.
The Panchyat Secretary was asked to take up renovation of PanchayatGhar and develop it as Model PanchayatGhar with all modern facilities so that the General Public of DianiPanchyat get all the Government online services and different training in thePanchayatGharDiani.
PRIs & local people thanked Prabhari Officer for actively/promptly solving problems faced by them.
