57 officials of IRP Zone Jammu granted Insitu Promotion

Jammu: In terms of SRO 14 of 1996 dated: 15-01-2016, Deputy Inspector General, (DIG) IRP Jammu has granted Insitu promotion to 57 Police Personnel, including Head-Constables and Selection Grade Constables of various Battalions of IR Jammu Zone with nine year service and a clean record.
The promotion has been granted on the recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted for the purpose. The Committee cleared the promotion of (9) Head Constables and (48) SG Constables who will get the next higher scale of pay in their respective rank.
The DIG congratulated the promotees and their families on these well deserved promotions and asked the personnel to work with more dedication and commitment to achieve the organizational goals. She insisted upon the personnel to perform duties with added zeal to win laurels for the force, particularly in view of varied challenges that the society as well as in J&K, U.T comes across.
