Progress under Distt Capex budget reviewed in Kishtwar

ADDC calls for early formulation of ADP for FY 2023-24

Kishtwar: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Sham Lal on Thursday chaired a marathon meeting with the BDC chairman, DDC members and local PRIs of the 3 blocks of district Kishtwarviz Block Nagseni, Palmar and Paddar to review the progress under District Capex 2022-23, besides discussing the Area Development plan for the FY 2023-24.
Earlier, the other day, a series of review meetings were also held with the Officers and the PRIs of Block Drabshalla and Bounjwah.
Concerned BDC chairpersons, DDC members and Sarpanches besides the officers and officials of district administration and Rural Engineering wing attended the meetings.
During the series of meetings conducted Thursday, ADDC took a detailed Block wise and Panchayat wise review of the physical and financial achievements of the works taken up under the Capex Budget 2022-23.
The BDOs were asked to ensure that all the works taken up in the current financial year are completed in a time bound manner. He stressed to avoid unnecessary lapse of funds and ensuring no work goes under SOS.
He set 28th Feb as deadline for the completion of ongoing works and stressed for timely billing as per the guideline issued by higher ups.
Meanwhile, the ADDC, in the presence of PRIs, BDC chairpersons and DDC members discussed sector-wise works projected under Area Development Plan 2023-24.
Threadbare discussion on the physical and financial implications of each work was held in the meeting and concerned BDOs were directed to ensure that the works are incorporated on the judicious and rational basis so that no overlapping of works is conceived during the next FY plan.
