DIG SKR visits PD Awantipora; Inaugurates Recreation Hall, held Darbar with Jawans, inspects JIC

Srinagar :Police on Thursday said that Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir Range Rayees Mohammad Bhat on Thursday visited Police District Awantipora where he inaugurated Recreation Hall at Tral besides, held Darbar with jawans and inspected JIC. During his visit, DIG SKR was accompanied by SSP Awantipora.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters, Srinagar the DIG SKR inaugurated the Recreation Hall at Tral and held Darbar with jawans of Police Component Tral. Addressing the Darbar, DIG S K R advised the officers and jawans to focus on their duties. He on this occasion also stressed upon them to gain public confidence. He also exhorted upon officers &jawans to keep doing good work with sincere efforts and be extra alert while performing duties. Besides this, DIG SKR also visited JIC Awantipora and interact with officers & officials& took a stock of the records and gave directions with regard to maintain the records using modern techniques. He on this occasion also told the officers to work for irradiating the residual militancy.
The DIG SKR directed the officers that while dealing with any anti-militancy operation or law & order scenario, people should not face any inconvenience. During the meeting, he also directed the officers to work with more dedication to curb the activities of elements inimical to peace.
