Kupwara : The Vice Chairman, District Development Council (DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir on Tuesday chaired a meeting of Tehsil Supplies Officers (TSOs) of Food Supply and Consumer Affairs department, Kupwara at meeting hall of RDD complex, here to take stock of the supply position of ration and other essential commodities in Kupwara district.
The VC, DDC reviewed the stock and supply position of food grains and other essential commodities in the district and received feedback from the TSOs with regard to supplies.
The VC was informed that all ration items including Rice and other essential commodities have already been dumped in the hilly and border areas of Kupwara district including Karnah, Keran and Machil which will cater the requirements of the people till May this year.
He was also informed that ration is also being supplied as per procedure in the other areas of the district.
The VC DDC asked the officers to work with added dedication and honesty so that people do not face any inconvenience in the district.
