Srinagar : Shopian Police under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) on Tuesday distributed the electric items among needy of district Shopian.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters, Srinagar SSP Shopian Tanushree along with Dy SP DAR DPL Shopian and other Police officers distributed the Electric blankets and solar lights among the people belongs to Below Poverty Line, especially downtrodden and having no source of income in District Police Lines Shopian. The SSP Shopian on this occasion while interacting with the families assured them that police will provide all possible support to make their lives easy and comfortable. She also asked the beneficiaries not to allow their social hindrances to come in their ways and to stay active in their lives in pursuit of their goals.
