Doda Admin finalises arrangements for Askini Bhadarkashi Utsava

Bhaderwah: To review and finalize the arrangements for forthcoming AskiniBhadarkashiUtsav, Deputy Commissioner DodaVishesh Paul Mahajanon Tuesday convened a meeting of officers of key departments here at Revenue Complex Bhaderwah.
The meeting was attended by SSP, Abdul Qayoom, C O 4RR, ADC BhaderwahChowdharyDil Mir, Senior Officers from GREF, TehsildarBhaderwah, DYSSO Doda, XEN BDA, SDPO Bhadarwah, representatives of various Associations.
The ADC Bhaderwah informed that all arrangements have been made by the concerned line departments at Jai Valley in particular and in and around Bhaderwah in general.
The DC thoroughly reviewed arrangements for holding Musical Carnival, Sports activities, ATV bike ride, food stalls, local fashion show, Snow Skiing, Rafting, Local Wrestling and other fun activities for the amusement of the tourists.
The decoration of the venue, safety and security measures, traffic management, selection of Artists, besides availability of other essential services on the scheduled days and dates were also reviewed.
The DC directed the police administration and forest department to open their respective check posts at Jai to check the movement of vehicles etc and take measures to avoid and prevent plastic dumping in the area during the Utsav. He directed the key departments to work in a coordinated manner to make the event a grand success. He was satisfied with the collective efforts being put in by all the concerned officers.
Later, the DC inspected the newly established Government Library at the Old Hospital building. He also inaugurated a private start up namely Authorized Service Centre Regency Honda Tridev Automobiles on EidGah road.
