DC Kathua reviews schemes and works executed by JK Sports Council, DYSS

Kathua: Deputy Commissioner Kathua, Rahul Pandeyon Tuesday convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the schemes and works being executed by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Youth Services and Sports Department in the district.
At the outset, the XEN JK Sports Council apprised about the physical and financial status of the works undertaken by the council including prestigious ArunJaitley Memorial International Stadium, Hiranagar and Water Sports Complex Basohli etc.
Highlighting the need to adhere to the timelines set by the government, the DC called upon the concerned field functionaries to ensure that all ongoing and new projects shall meet the physical and financial targets.
The DC directed XEN REW to clear the financial liabilities in case of already completed works besides laying stress on removing all bottlenecks besides speeding up the ongoing works with special emphasis on achieving financial progress within the cut off time frame.
Among others CPO KathuaUttam Singh, ACD Kishore Singh Katoch and concerned officers attended the meeting.
