Jammu: Commissioner Secretary, Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayati Raj (Mentor Secretary), Mandeep Kaur, on Monday chaired a Parabhari Officer follow up virtual meet of ‘Back to Village phase IV’ for Panchayat Seri Khawaja, Lassana block.
During the meeting, MandeepKaur took a detailed review of development indicators including status of deliverables in the panchayat and had a holistic follow up meet with the line departments. She also undertook review of works approved after B2V4 in response to demands raised by the general public during the ambitious programme.
MandeepKaur asked for conducting this meeting on first Monday of every month as mandatory in presence of all concerned officers.
Commissioner Secretary directed the Agriculture and Forest departments to submit a comprehensive report regarding availability of natural resources in Panchayat Seri Khwaja in particular and district in general. She also directed the concerned for ensuring uploading of all activities of the panchayat on JK Panchayat Portal by the Panchayat Account Assistant on regular basis.
Commissioner Secretary also asked for displaying list of beneficiaries of MGNREGA and PMAY on walls of the panchayat building. She directed the Assistant Commissioner Development, Poonch, to monitor registration of births and deaths in the district and share monthly progress report in this regard. She cautioned the officers against offline issuance of certificates.
MandeepKaur stressed upon the concerned officers to submit land availability documents for construction of BDC building at block Lassana. She gave approval for construction of CSC (Pink Ladies Toilet) at Seri Kahwaja near Panchayatghar.
She asked the officers for activating all the committees including PaniSamiti, Health and Sanitation, Biodiversity management committees and forest rights committees.
Commissioner Secretary also inspected 7 registers which are mandatory to be maintained for all panchayats and directed the officers to update GPDP, which was formulated during Back to village programme, within a week and upload on all the portals like jkpanchayat.in and E Gram Swaraj.
