The Inquiry Committee headed by ADC met with several stakeholders, villagers, and witnesses and recorded their statements. The final report in this regard shall come out soon.
The Committee also inspected the drug stores/ medical shops of the area and licences of two medical shops were suspended for failing to produce proper records of their sale-purchase and other mandated record. The owners of the shops were asked to produce the required record before the authority to reinstate their liscences.
It is pertinent to mention here that the news related to death of the women allegedly due to medical negligence appeared in the Social media, even as some other social media handles termed it as a case of natural death. The appearance of such contradictory repots made the DM Doda to order inquiry.
