Jammu: Police on Monday said that the Govt. has promoted 41 officers of the J&K Police as Deputy Superintendents of Police. While expressing his gratitude on the order issued by the Govt, Director General of Police, J&K, Dilbag Singh has congratulated the officers for their promotion and expressed his gratefulness to Lt. Governoradministration for its faith in J&K Police.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre PHQ Jammu here, the DGP congratulated the officers and their families. Police Chief in his his message said that the promotion always boosts morale to perform better. On this occasion, the DGP hoped that the officers placed as Dy SPs will continue to serve for the betterment of the people. He wished them good luck in their future endeavours and impressed upon them to work with more zeal & zest.
Meanwhile, the DGP expressed his gratitude to Lt. Governor J&K Manoj Sinha, Advisor (B) R R Bhatnagar, Chief Secretary J&K Dr A. K. Mehta, Financial Commissioner (ACS) J&K R K Goyal and other officers of the J&K Government for sanctioning the order of promotion. J&K Home Department vide an order issued here on Monday has sanctioned the placement of 41 Inspectors as Deputy Superintendent of Police, on stop gap basis in their own pay and grade.
