A woman in our society is just surviving not living, not enjoying, not celebrating. She is suffering for being a subjugated species on earth. A women here has never been given her share of respect, attention, care or whatever was her due. To pray her was her due as she was form of goddess for some, heaven lies under her feet for some, she is daughter, sister, wife, mother, a friend but she has millions more things inside than her outside. She expresses less but suffers more. Her eyes tell a million stories, she has been trying to hide. All we need is an eye to look in those eyes and feel that storm, so quite, so humble inside.
Love in her heart, storm in her soul
Demons in her head, madness in her mind
Trouble in her smile, fire in her eyes
She is an imperfect masterpiece ,she is a mystery .No matter how hard you look for the words to explain her ,those words will fall short on the whole of who she is .These days it’s hard for me to find the words to explain my own self .if I look in the mirror, nothing looks familiar .I know there is a great emergence of some kind happening that i can’t explain or understand. Like a Trapped bird who has finally been set free but the vastness of space outside of its old cage is overwhelming and frightening. At times it is tempting to return to the comfort of what I know because at least there i knew where I stood. Trying to find my footing has become my daily routine and it is difficult venture .I think I will always be some sort of untamable storm that most will never understand or able to comprehend . Probably because most lose interest or either find the storm too much to handle. But the storm is in her smile, it is wild ,it is fierce, it is the whole of what she actually is. When you find out who she really is ,maybe you will find the words to write an explanation . until then the guess remain a secret , a mystery , an unsolvable puzzle .
She is something, something different .
She is fearless ,yet always vigilant.
She is a warrior. She fight the tears with pretty smiles and lies.
She is chaos, yet so calm.
She is beautiful but covered in dirt.
She is a disaster, yet masterpiece of words.
She is me, she is you, she is us.
We are jealous of that smile on her face, we are sadists inside out. We have been seeing and enjoying or not caring her grim Face. We are scared of her being liberated. We have been blaming each other’s religion within Ourselves, debating her as a subject but forgot to make her not only the subject but a part of Ourselves, our equal half in every aspect of our lives. Religions never discriminated women but The followers did. My religion places her at the highest level of respect, under her feet I can trace heaven, looking in her eyes with love connects me to God. She has been discriminated, suffering and resisting from womb to cradle, from cradle to school ,from kitchen to bed. When she smiles, whole universe smiles, when she prospers whole nation prospers but alas that smile is lost. Somewhere in the woods, somewhere in our homes, somewhere in our busy streets and somewhere in some beautiful villages.
