Arrangements for mega Aharbal – Chiranba Winter Carnival reviewed

Kulgam: To review arrangements for two days mega Winter Carnival at Aharbal&Chiranbal tourist places scheduled from 16th of February, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmed Girion Monday visited Aharbal where he chaired a meeting of officers and reviewed arrangements and preparations made for the festival by various departments.
During the meeting, the ADC took stock of arrangements for different activities including cultural programmes, transportation, trekking, Snow games, illumination, installation of stalls and other activities.
He also instructed the Mechanical Engineering Department to put men and machinery in ready mode to ensure timely Snow clearance if required.
He also stressed upon the officers of line departments to put in place elaborated arrangements to make the event successful.
The meeting was attended by CEO ADA, Romin Sheikh; ACR, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; ACD, Mohammad Imran Khan; SDM Noorabad; Ex. Engineer ADA and officers from Youth Services and Sports, PHE, Forest and other Departments.
