ADGP Armed promotes 482 Police Personnel

Jammu: Addl. Director General of Police Armed J&K S J M Gillani has issued promotion orders of 482 Selection Grade Constables to the rank of Head Constables in J&K Armed Police.
According to a statement issued from ADGP Armed Police Headquarters Jammu the promotion orders of the aforesaid officials were issued on Friday after the DPC headed by ADGP Armed J&K as its Chairman assessed the cases of eligible Sg. Constables and found them fit for promotion to their next ranks in light of the relevant promotion norms.
While interacting with the newly promoted HCs, the ADGP congratulated the them and wished good luck to them &their families. The ADGP hoped that the newly promoted Officials shall consistently demonstrate discipline, hard work and dedication towards their assignments and always come-up to the expectations of people. While issuing the aforesaid promotion orders the ADGP Armed said that the promotion process of Constables of J&K Armed Police is also under process in the Armed Police Headquarters. It has always been one of priorities of APHQ to take care of the timely promotion of officials, the ADGP Armed said.
In a concluding para of the above quoted statement police further said that the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) headed by S.J.M Gillani ADGP Armed J&K comprised of Shamsher Hussain Commandant JKAP-13thBn, Balwant Raj Dy. Commandant JKAP-8th Bn., Mohammad Shafi Rather Dy. Director Prosecution APHQ J&K, Ab. Hamid Dar Dy SP (Personnel) APHQ J&K, Abdul Hamid Dar Inspector (M) I/C GB, Krishan Saroop Rathore Sub-Inspector I/C Research & Development Branch, Radha Sham ASI Account Section APHQ J&K and Abdul Rashid HC DA Account Section APHQ J&K.
