Srinagar : SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure on Wednesday took stock of the functioning of Police Drug de-addiction Centre Baramulla and also visited sub division Kreeri where he held interaction meeting with police ranks.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar during his visit to the Police Drug De-addiction Centre, the SSP Baramulla interacted with the patients and their parents and while interacting with the parents he advised them to spend quality time with their children as communication gap leads to behavioural problems in children. On this occasion he also advised the patients to take full advantages of counselling and other facilities in order to get themselves out from the menace of drug addiction. The SSP Baramulla further assured the patients that various facilities in the centre will be upgraded. The SSP on this occasion also interacted with the staff members of the centre and expressed his satisfaction over the functioning of centre. He took note of the issues of staff members and issues related to the expansion of the centre and recreational facilities.
SSP Baramulla along with Additional SP Baramulla visited Sub division Kreeri and took stock of the functioning of Police Station Kreeri and PC Kreeri where he interacted with police personnel. SSP Baramulla while interacting with officers and officials, emphasized upon them to put best possible efforts & ensure maximum services to the department.
During inspection of different sections viz NGOs block, Mess, Recreation, Barracks and Munishat Building SSP stressed on the officers and other staff to work with more dedication in providing necessary services to the general public and the department continuously. However, the SSP Baramullaon this occasion also directed the officers to further improve the efficiency and monitor the work personally. He also impressed upon the officers to solve the problems and genuine demands/grievances of the subordinates particularly of SPOs and constabulary. Referring to the different welfare measures, the SSP Baramulla said that benefits of the welfare programmes must reach to subordinates. He exhorted upon the officers to seek feedback from the subordinates and take the necessary steps to upgrade the conditions for achieving better results.
