Rajouri: As a part of its efforts to vacate state Land from the illegal occupants, the District Administration Rajouri has launched a massive anti-encroachment drive in all tehsils of the district and retrieved over 102 kanal of state land Friday.
As per the eviction plan and on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, regular anti encroachment drives are being conducted in the district to retrieve the state land.
During the day long drive, TehsildarTeryath retrieved 50 kanal prime state land in Jungrail; TehsildarBerripattan retrieved 12 kanal state land in Village Sayal, while 40 kanal land was reclaimed in Village Choki Handan of Nowshera Tehsil. Besides, TehsildarSunderbani removed the encroachment on NH144 A and handed over the land to BRO for road extension.
