Doda: Acting tough against illegal mining, a team of police and Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer, Sunil Manhas, seized two vehicles involved in illegal mining near an old wooden suspension bridge at PulDoda.
The vehicles have been booked under the Mining Act.
The team also destroyed the path used by the sand mafia for illegal sand extraction at PulDoda near Old Bridge.
As per the DMO action against illegal mining will be further intensified and anyone involved in illegal mining shall be booked under relevant sections of the law.
