The free consultation camp was held under AzadiKaAmritMahotsav (AKAM) and ADBHUT Doda Initiative of the District Administration to provide specialized service to the people within the district for which they are forced to visit Jammu.
The whole programme was conducted under the overall guidance and supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan.

The manpower, infrastructure, and machinery were being augmented in the newly established GMC Doda to meet the health care demand of the area. He informed that administration was going to organise more such consultation camps at the district headquarter and in the rural areas to cater to the health care needs of the patients. He further informed that the health department has started tele-consultation services under the e-Sanjeevani scheme, and the contact numbers are already in circulation. He advised the public to take maximum advantage of tele-consultation services, ABHA ID, and AB-PM JAY-SEHAT Scheme.
