Jammu : Telecast of the Sixth edition of ParikshaPeCharcha, which is the Prime Minister’s yearly Interaction Programme with School Students, Teachers, and Parents, was organized in more 3000 Schools of Jammu Division under the supervision of Principal Secretary School Education, Alok Kumar and able guidance of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu, benefitting more than 5 Lakh Students, Teachers and Parents.
The event was telecasted live in schools and other offices of the Education Department using different media platforms like T.V, Radio, Internet etc, pertinently, most of the schools organized its live streaming through their own ICT labs using internet facility.
The main event was held at Teacher Bhawan auditorium Jammu, in which more than 500 Students and Teachers Participated. Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament, Jammu Poonch constituency emphasized on sensitizing all stakeholders and bringing together students, parents, teachers and the society to foster a stress free environment where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated, encouraged and allowed to express itself fully. He added that the event proved very motivating and inspirational for students who are going to take board exams in summer zone schools.
As youth are the future of the nation, the government is fully committed towards ensuring best possible education for all the students and ParikshaPeCharcha is one such program where the Prime Minister NarendraModi himself is taking lead and showing by example how a single person with will and determination can make a colossal difference on ground, he added.
During the live interaction, students from across the nation asked questions from PM Modi and from J&K Nida of Government Model Higher Secondary School Sunjwan, Jammu was selected to put her question to the Prime Minister.
Counseling cell DSEJ organized virtual interactive programmes for publicizing the PPC 2023 event and Exam Warriors Book by Prime Minister. Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the “Exam Warriors” movement which aims to create a stress-free environment for students. DrRomesh Kumar IC counseling cell DSEJ informed that counseling cell DSEJ has undertaken a lot of initiatives for ensuring mental well-being of students including examination stress management.
Students, teachers and parents actively participated in a month-long campaign on PPC 2023 in which 41875 students, 21163 teachers and 4080 parents from Jammu Division participated in the competitions held on different themes. Students and teachers expressed their excitement through audio visual messages shared on the social media handles of Counselling cell DSEJ.
Pertinently under the guidance of Director School education Jammu, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma counseling cells constituted at different levels are already undertaking different programmes on examination stress management as per the calendar issued by counseling cell DSEJ.
Counselling Cell DSEJ planned the execution of Live Streaming of Interaction in all districts of Jammu Division and with the active cooperation of respective Chief Education Officers made this mega event a great success.
