74th Republic Day: Celebrations held across Kashmir Division amid patriotic fervour

Jammu: The 74th Republic Day was celebrated in the premises of the Government Industrial Training Institute, Akhnoor Road, Jammu.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Joint Director, Skill Development Department, Khan Farooq Ahmed followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Vice Principal Govt. ITI Jammu, Rajesh Kumar Banotra and Sr. Faculty members viz S. Karan Singh, Rajeev Kumar Dubey and Er. Nazir Ahmed Molvi, President J&K ITI Employees United front, was also present.
In his address, Joint Director, Skill Development Department said that ITI was on the game changer path and taking up new assignments to take the department as well as institution to newer heights. He greeted the staff members and audience and highlighted the importance of the day for all sections of the society.
Joint Director also appreciated Lt. SumitChandail, ANO NCC for making this event successful.
JKRTC: On the auspicious occasion of 74th Republic Day, an impressive National Flag hoisting function was organized by JKRTC at its Divisional HeadQuarter, BikramChowk, Jammu. The officers and officials of the Corporation participated with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm.
The National Flag was hoisted by Managing Director, JKRTC, Rakesh Kumar Sarangal. In his address the Managing Director, JKRTC congratulated all the citizens of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir in General and employees of the Corporation in particular. He appreciated the JKRTC employees
He said JKRTC feels honoured to provide 20 vehicles in Jammu city as free services on the occasion of 74th Republic Day celebrations. In addition hundreds of JKRTC buses were deployed for ferrying students for cultural participation from different school / cultural institutions to M. A Stadium, Jammu.
