Jammu : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order for the creation of 20 posts in different categories for the establishment of a terror monitoring group in J&K Police.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Jammu here, the Director General J&K Police Dilbag Singh has extended his gratitude to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and his Government for the creation & establishment of the terror monitoring group. The DGP said that the establishment of a specific terror monitoring group will play important role in cracking the militant ecosystem.
In this context an order by the JK Home department has been issued vide number Government Order No. 39-Home of 2023. The order reads, that sanction is hereby accorded to the creation of following 20 (Twenty) posts in different categories which will include one SSP, six DySPs, six Inspectors six Head Constables and one Follower for establishment of Terror Monitoring Group (TMG) in J&K Police.
