Full dress rehearsal held across Jammu div ahead of Republic Day- 2023

Jammu: Full dress rehearsal was held Tuesday across the districts of Jammu division ahead of the celebration of Republic Day- 2023.
Impressive parade by the contingents of School Children, NCC Cadets Army, Police CRPF and other belt forces, besides colorful cultural presentations marked the Full dress rehearsal.
At Doda: The Full dress rehearsal was held in Sports Stadium Doda. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti hoisted the National Flag and took salute at an impressive March past comprising contingents drawn from the CRPF, JKAP, JKP, FPF, Home Guard, NCC, and Government and Private school children besides Police Band. In his address, the ADC Doda highlighted the efforts of the Administration in bringing the services of all the departments to the doorsteps of the people. He highlighted the initiatives of District Administration under ADBHUT Doda.
At Kathua: Full Dress rehearsal for the celebration of Republic Day 2023 was held with great enthusiasm here in the Sports Stadium, Kathua. Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Pandey took salute at an impressive march past comprising contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, platoons of NCC cadets besides formation of Police Band. On the occasion, students presented scintillating cultural items based on patriotic themes, folk dance and music. Speaking on the occasion, the DC highlighted the District Development Profile and listed the ongoing projects and programmes besides sector wise achievements. The DC called upon the participating students to give their best performance to make the celebration of the National Day a grand success.
At Kishtwar: Amid cloudy weather conditions, the full dress Republic Day rehearsal was held in the premises of DC Office Complex. Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal unfurled the Tri-colour and took the salute at the march past presented by contingents of CRPF, Police, CISF, JKAP, NCC, Forest Protection Force, Homeguard and School Children. The programme was conducted with due adherence to the SOPs. The ADDC highlighted the sacrifices of the freedom fighters besides throwing light on the significance of the Constitution of India. He also highlighted the developmental scenario of the district and counted the progress made by the Youth of Kishtwar in the education and other fields.
At Ramban: Full Dress Rehearsal for 74th Republic Day celebrations was held with patriotism at District Police Lines, Ramban. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal Sharma unfurled the National Flag and took salute at the Parade comprising contingents of Police, CRPF, IRP, Home Guards and school children. The march-past was followed by colourful cultural programmes presented by the local artists and students of different educational institutions of the district.
At Udhampur: In view of the preparation for Republic Day-2023 celebrations, the full dress rehearsal was conducted at Government PG College Boys Udhampur. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mohammad Syed Khan hoisted the National flag at 9:55 AM and took salute at an impressive march past of 28 contingents drawn from District Police, CRPF, Volunteer Home Guards, NCC and other civil troupes besides Police Band, took part in a full dress rehearsal. Addressing the participants, he highlighted the achievements of the district administration, listed ongoing developmental works and mega projects being implemented in different sectors.
At Reasi: The full dress rehearsal, in connection with the celebration of Republic Day, was held in the Mini Sports Stadium Reasi under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Abdual Star. The ADC took the salute at an impressive march past of 21 contingents drawn from CRPF, IRP, J and K Police, NCC and various educational institutions of Reasi and its adjoining areas. Students drawn from different educational institutions presented a scintillating cultural program based on patriotism, cultural ethos and social evils.
At Rajouri: The full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day Celebrations concluded successfully in Rajouri on Tuesday. The full dress rehearsal was conducted under the overall supervision of the District Magistrate, Vikas Kundal. Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sachin Dev Singh took salute at an impressive march past of contingents drawn from the Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC, and students from various educational institutions, in addition to the Police Band in the District Police Lines.
At Poonch: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik took salute and hoisted National Flag at the Full dress rehearsal in Sports Stadium Poonch. Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the performance of parade contingents and arrangements put in place for the celebrations of the National Day. Students from various government and private schools of Poonch city and its peripheries presented a cultural show.
At Samba: Full dress rehearsal was held in Sports Stadium Arazi Samba. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rakesh Dubey unfurled the tri-colour and took salute at the March Past comprising contingents of Police, ITBP, Army, NCC, School Children and led by DySp (Operations) GR Bhardhawaj. A cultural program featuring patriotic songs, folk music and dance was presented by students of Degree College, Samba, JNV school, Girls Govt. Higher Secondary school , Govt. High school and other Government and private institutions.
