Jammu: Senior Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh, Digvijay Singh along with members of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday visited Government Medical College and Hospital to enquire about the health of those injured in twin blasts at Narwal here.

Two back to back blasts took place on Saturday left at least nine persons injured in a junkyard at Transport Nagar in Narwal area here.

After meeting the victims, they told reporters that nothing can stop the Bharat Jodo Yatra, adding, “We can’t compromise the security of Rahul Gandhi and we hope as it is assured that the J&K administration will take care of all the security arrangements.”

The Congress leaders also added that the claims made by the government of the peaceful situation in Jammu and Kashmir after Abrogation of Article 370 falls flat.

“We don’t want to politicize it but it is clear that terrorism exists even after Article 370 revocation,” they added.
