J&K Police to host 71st All India Police Football Championship at Srinagar from 11th to 21st March

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police is scheduled to organize 71st All India Police Football Championship 2022-23 at Srinagar w.e.f March 11 to March 21 this year.
According to a statement issued from Armed Police Headquarters S.J.M Gillani ADGP Armed J&K on Thursday chaired a meeting at APHQ Conference Hall Srinagar to chalk out the arrangements and preparations and issued some significant instructions to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the event. During the meeting all the important issues like accommodation, Transportation, Media Publicity coverage, medical arrangements, Reception/ Sightseeing Security, Traffic arrangements, Security arrangements for participating teams were discussed. During the meeting all officers were asked to assess the availability of accommodation at APC Zewan, CTC Lethpora, PTS Manigam. APC Perhaspora and APC Humhama, and report to the respective DIGPs within three days. The concerned supervisory officers were directed to renovate the identified accommodation and get it completed within stipulated time. On the occasion it was decided that practice matches of the event shall be held at Grounds of S.P College & Amar Singh College Srinagar. The meeting was attended by Shahid Mehraj DIG Armed Police Kashmir, Abdul Qayoom DIG IRP-Kashmir, Commandants of Kashmir based Units and Principals of Training centers besides the officers of Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar.
