DC B’pora conducts extensive tour of Hajin, Naidkhai & adjacent areas

DC along with DDC Chairman inaugurates hot line, Digital X Ray for NTPHC Naidkhai

Bandipora: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of Hajin, Naidkhai and adjacent areas.
The DC interacted with the public and took feedback regarding the post-Snowfall situation. He also listened to their issues and passed on spot directions for their redressal.
DrOwais along with DDC Chairman inaugurated a Hotline for NTPHC Naidkhai to ensure uninterrupted power supply to NTPHC and augment health infrastructure. They also inaugurated Digital X-Ray of NTPHC Naidkhai.
Dr.Owais said that hotline and digital X-ray for NTPHC Naidkhai was long pending demand of the public and said that it will benefit around 40k people of the area.
The DC also reviewed the functioning of NTPHC and assured availability of a stationed ambulance for NTPHC.
While interacting with the public, DrOwas urged them to avail the benefits of Amnesty scheme to clear pending electricity dues. He said the eligible consumers who fail to avail the Amnesty Scheme and do not pay the outstanding dues shall invite penalty and legal action besides disconnection of power supply.
He appreciated the work done by DDCs, BDCs, PRIs for upgrading the infrastructure and facilities in schools and health sector.
He said focus is on, to complete pending works of electricity upgradation, schools and health.
He urged the public to participate in Gram sabha for proper development planning of their respective areas.
Among others SDM Sumbal Amir Choudhary, CMO Bandipora, Block Medical Officer Hajin and other concerned were present on the occasion.
