Dy. Mayor SMC ,Corporator takes review of ongoing works at Khanyar

Srinagar : The Dy. Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri along with Corporator, Zubair Fayaz Dar Ward No.45 (Doulatabad) on Tuesday took an on spot review of ongoing works in Khnayar area.
During the visit to Badu Bagh, AbiNowpora and other areas of Khanyar, the Dy. Mayor along with the team took an on spot review of all developmental works and other civic services being provided by SMC in respective jurisdictions.
The locals and representatives of these areas thanked the Deputy Mayor for his visit and apprised him of various developmental requirements in the said areas.
They demanded construction/repairing of Lane at Badu Bagh, reconstruction/repairing of damaged link road at Badu Bagh, replacement of damaged wooden poles at Badu Bagh, laying of new tap water pipe line at various places of Electoral Ward No.45 Doulatabad, raising of manholes at Badu Bagh, up-gradation of link road at AbiNowpora and construction/up-gradation of lanes and by-lanes of Electoral Ward No.45 Doulatabad.
The Dy. Mayor issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers to take appropriate necessary action with respect to the issues raised by the representatives and directed for the redressal of grievances faced by the residents of Badu Bagh and AbiNowporaKhanyar.
The representatives of the Badu Bagh and AbiNowporaKhanyar Srinagar assured full cooperation with the SMC Officers/Officials.
The Dy.Mayor was accompanied by various senior officials of SMC including Assistant Executive Engineer (S&D 1st UEED), Assistant Executive Engineer (PHE), Assistant Executive Engineer (RRWD Nowpora), Assistant Executive Engineer (City Roads), SMC and other officers/officials of corporation.
