DC Kupwara reviews Rev related matters in the Distt

Rev Day to be held every Tuesday at Patwar halqa level to redress public grievances, issues

Kupwara: In order to review various revenue related matters, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. DoifodeSagarDattatrayon Thursday convened a meeting of Revenue officers in the meeting hall of D.C Office, here.
The DC took a detailed review of various revenue related matters and got feedback from the concerned officers regarding their progress.
The matters reviewed include functioning of RCCMS Portal, Reconstruction of Missing Massavies, PSGA, holding of revenue camps, inspection of revenue records, administrative inspection, status of deliverance of online revenue services, generation/distribution of Land Passbooks, eviction of State/Kahcharie land, status of grievances and digitization of Cadastral Maps.
Reviewing the holding of Revenue camps, it was given out in the meeting that a Revenue Day will be held on every Tuesday at PatwarHalqa level to redress the issues and grievances of the people related to Revenue matters.
The DC directed the Tehsildars to submit the action taken report of the disposal made during the Revenue Day.
Regarding land transfer issue, the DC directed the Tehsildars to ensure proper usage of the Government land in their jurisdictions as they are the custodians of the same adding that no department shall be allowed to make construction on State/Kacharie land without undergoing proper land transfer process. He directed them to closely monitor their areas for any haphazard construction.
Reviewing the Revenue Court Cases Monitoring System (RCCMS), the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure timely disposal of all the pending cases, besides, updating the status of cases on the RCCMS portal.
Regarding Land Passbooks, the meeting was informed that out of total 225483 passbooks, 183980 passbooks have been generated and 80290 passbooks have been distributed.
ADC Kupwara also spoke during the meeting and sensitized the officers towards different roles and responsibilities.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, GhulamNabiBhat; ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; SDM Lolab, Tehsildars and other concerned attended the meeting.
