ADDC G’bal reviews R-day celebration arrangements in the Distt

Ganderbal: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnanion Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the arrangements for celebration of Republic Day, 2023 in the district.
A threadbare discussion was held on the arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the function like seating, barricading, drinking water, power supply, sanitation, fire services, security, transport, traffic regulations, illumination of government buildings and other necessary arrangements on the national day function.
The ADDC directed all concerned officers to ensure all arrangements for the successful celebration of national event are put in place on time. He also directed them to mobilize a maximum number of people for the participation in the National event to make it more attractive and joyful.
The meeting was informed that the district-level function shall be organized at Qamaria Ground where the National Flag will be unfurled by the chief guest followed by a march past by the contingents of CRPF, JKP, JKAP, NCC besides school children.
The ADDC directed district heads of all departments to ensure their presence at the Republic Day function at District Headquarters, while directing their subordinate officers and officials to attend national functions in their respective jurisdictions.
He directed already constituted Committees to ensure foolproof arrangements for Cultural programme, Reception, seating arrangement, refreshment and other related arrangements to make the National function a grand success.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah; SDM Kangan, Javaid Ahmad Rather; ACR besides other district and sectoral officers.
