Kishtwar: Next of Kins (NoK)s of two accident victims out of total three victims who lost their lives during an accident at the work site of Rattle Hydroelectric power project, Drabshalla few months ago were on Monday provided authority letters worth Rs 3204900 by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav, here.
The accident Compensation was provided under the Employees Compensation Act 1923. Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Kishtwar Amit Kumar was also present on the occasion. It is pertinent to mention that the company has deposited the amount in all the three cases.
The NOKs of the third case (Claimant) were not present Monday due to some reason for which the DC directed the ALC to ensure the compensation is handed over to NoKs of third accident victims soon in accordance with the rules.
