Distt Committee identifies building, begins short-listing of applicants for DDAC Ang

Anantnag: District Level Committee meeting for setting up of District Drug De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) was on Wednesday held at DC Office Anantnag under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr BasharatQayoom.
District Social Welfare Officer Anantnag briefed the participants regarding the guidelines for establishing the centre including accessibility, rent free accommodation and suitable location. He shared proposals received from various NGOs for setting up and operating the DDAC in the district. The proposals were discussed by the attendees.
The chair directed for verification of the proposal received from various quarters. He said that based on the verification, the shortlist for the building and operating agency will be forwarded to the Administrative Department.
The meeting was attended by Principal GMC Anantnag, CMO, CAHO, Principals of GDC (Boys) and GDC (Girls) Anantnag, ARTO, Superintendent ITI Anantnag, DySP DAR, AD Employment among others.
