Felicitation ceremony for Ju-Jitsu players held at B’pora

Bandipora: A felicitation ceremony for the Ju-Jitsu players scheduled to participate in National Level Championship to be held at Madhya Pradesh (MP) was on Tuesday organised at mini secretariat, Bandipora.
The players were felicitated with prizes to encourage them for future endeavors.
The felicitation ceremony was organised by Ju-Jitsu association Bandipora in collaboration with District Youth Services and sports (YSS) Department Bandipora.
The felicitation ceremony was presided over by District Nodal Officer Coordination, Mohd Ashraf Hakak and was attended by Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad officials of YSS, Ju-Jitsu Association Bandipora, participating players and other concerned.
Secretary Ju- Jitsu association BandiporaMuzaffar Ahmad said that 21 players are going to participate in the National Ju-Jitsu championship to be held at Madhya Pradesh from 15 January 2023.
He said the players earlier participated in the J&K level championship which was held at Bhagwati Nagar Indoor stadium Jammu from where they were selected for the National Level Championship.
He said the players also bagged 7 Gold, 7 silver and 6 Bronze medals at the J&K level championship.
Nodal officer Mohd Ashraf Hakak and Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad while interacting with the players extended best wishes to them and urged them to work hard and bring laurels to the district at National and international level.
The Guests congratulated the players for bagging the Gold, silver and bronze medals at J&K level.
