DC Jmu reviews R-Day arrangements at M.A Stadium

Jammu : Deputy Commissioner, AvnyLavasaon Monday visited M.A Stadium and reviewed on the spot the arrangements for Republic- Day 2023 celebration.
Commissioner JMC, Rahul Yadav; SSP, ChandanKohli; Director School Education, Ravi Shanka; Deputy Director Information (PR) DrVikas Sharma along with senior functionaries from Police, Security, Jal Shakti, PDD, Health, Hospitality and Protocol, Sports and Youth Affairs and other concerned departments were present on the occasion.
Threadbare discussion was held with regard to the security arrangements, traffic regulation, seating arrangements, Full Dress Rehearsal, decoration, Shahnaivadan, PAS, power and water supply, transport arrangements, sanitation, Medicare facilities, Barricading at venue of the function and other vital issues.
The DC inquired from the officers from security and police about the arrangements being put in place by their respective departments. She directed them to make fool-proof security arrangements in advance for the National event.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the Deputy Director Information to make the arrangements of Public Address System, Media coordination for proper coverage, ShehnaiVadan besides recommendation of commentators for the event.
The Deputy Commissioner also asked the concerned officials to complete the face lifting works well before the event.
The DC instructed the Jammu Municipal Corporation to ensure cleanliness in and around the venue on the R-Day celebrations.
The JPDCL and Jal Shakti department were directed to ensure proper management of electricity and water including water tankers at the venue.
The CMO was asked to ensure proper medical facilities along with staff and ambulances at the venue.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Officers to ensure all related arrangements in advance and work in close coordination for the smooth conduct of Republic Day celebrations.
