Tribal Sub Plan: ADDC Shopian distributes Horti Equipments

Shopian: The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, ManzoorHussainon Saturday distributed various Horticulture equipment under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) among the Orchardists and farmers of SaidporaShopian at Gagren, here.
These farmers were provided various equipment by the Department of Horticulture which includes 4 Tillers, 6 Brush Cutters, 3 Power Sprayers and 2 IP Sets on subsidized rates.
Speaking on the occasion, ADDC exhorted the farmers to make optimal use of the equipment for increasing their production by using the latest technology.
He while interacting with the Orchardists and farmers of Saidapora, advised them to take maximum benefit by availing incentives available under various centrally sponsored schemes presently under implementation in the district. He impressed upon the farmers to keep a close liaison with the field functionaries of the Horticulture department.
The farmers also put forth their demands which were listened to patiently and a number of their problems were addressed on the spot.
The programme was organized for Information dissemination among farmers under centrally sponsored schemes.
The Chief Horticulture Officer, Shopian, Mohammad Ramzan War, Officers and Officials of Horticulture Department Shopian were also present on the occasion.
