Doda: The Department of General Surgery Government Medical College Doda conducted a two day conference “Traumacon 22” on 30th and 31st December 2022.
While giving details regarding the conference, Dr Babar Rashid Zargar, HOD Surgery and chairman organizing committee, explained that Road Traffic Accidents are the leading cause of death worldwide, more so in Chenab Valley region.
Over 100 Doctors from different health institutes as well as paramedical staff participated in this academic feast.
Different aspects of trauma management were explained and discussed with the aim of updating the skills of health care professionals.
In addition to academic sessions hands-on training on Ultrasonography was imparted to the participants.
Dr Babar expressed his gratitude to the GMC Principal Prof. Noor Ali and Founder Principal Tariq Azad for unconditional support and guidance. He also thanked all the speakers, delegates, organising secretaries, volunteers, and all other departments who actively participated to make this event a grand success. He also vowed to conduct similar events in future to keep upgrading the knowledge and skills of our doctors and healthcare professionals.
