Progs under ‘Har Ghar Dhyan’ campaign held at IUST

Srinagar : Under the Aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), the Islamic University of Science and Technology on Friday organized a series of programs to participate in the “Har Ghar Dhyan” campaign. On this occasion, a series of programs were organized by the Dean of Students in collaboration with the Health Centre and Directorate of Physical Education and Sports IUST, in which students and staff enthusiastically participated.
In a statement issued from Public Relations Office IUST here, besides Yoga and physical education events, a special session on ‘Meditation and Mental Health’ was organized as part of this campaign wherein the importance of psychological well-being and the role of medication was discussed.
In a concluding para of the statement, some stage performances were also organized on this occasion, which highlighted the ill effects of drug addiction on mental health.
