Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhaton Friday visited D.H.Pora area and took firsthand appraisal of Snow clearance operations, provision/restoration of essential services besides availability of essential commodities in the area.
The DC also chaired a meeting of Officers at Tehsil Office D.H.Pora and took detailed review of progress made so far vis-à-vis restoring scheduled essential services besides he also took stock of availability of essentials.
Concerned officers from Mechanical Engineering, R&B informed the DC that 99 percent of roads stands cleared in the Noorabad area.
AEE, Jal Shakti informed that all 48 Water Supply Scheme are functioning normally.
Concerned from KPDCL informed the chair that all 14 feeders are fully functional in the area and electricity has also been restored in all parts of Noorabad.
The DC impressed upon the officers to remain available for people and ensure timely provision of services throughout the winter season.
The meeting was attended by SDM Noorabad, Bashir Ul Hassan; ACR Kulgam, Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz; BMO, AEEs from KPDCL, Jal Shakti and MED besides TSO and other officers.
