DC B’pora, J&K Nodal Officer DNB Courses visits B’pora Hospital, reviews specifications required for DNB courses

Bandipora: Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed along with J&K Nodal Officer DNB Courses Dr. Jitendar Mehta on Thursday visited District Hospital Bandipora to review the provisions for starring DNB Courses.
The duo took a thorough inspection of District Hospital Bandipora to review DNB District Residency Programme and implementation of DVDMS.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Dr. Owais Ahmed said, the visit was aimed to review the facilities available for starting DNB courses of Gynaecology and ophthalmology which will enhance manpower and expertise in DH Bandipora.
He said efforts are on to meet the guidelines and requirements for DNB courses and hoped that both the courses will be sanctioned to DH Bandipora which will ultimately improve patient care.
He said establishment of additional wards including geriatric ward, chemotherapy ward, paediatric ward in addition to establishment of gynaecology HDU unit ICU besides other facilities are also under process.
He expressed satisfaction for the pace of work in ongoing works and extended best wishes to the MS and staff of the hospital for ranking Ist on JK e-Sahaj for the month of November 2022.
