Distt Admin B’gam conducts Mock Drill for Covid-19 readiness at PHC Chanpora

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, S F Hamid on Tuesday visited PHC Chanpora to witness Mock Drill conducted for Covid-19 readiness by the District Administration.
During visit, the DC inspected various Wards, ICU facility, Oxygen plant, Digital X- Ray and other health facilities established at Covid Facility Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC requested to follow the advisory issued by the health department regarding Covid -19 pandemic.
The DC was accompanied by CMO Budgam, DrLahoot Hassan; MS District Hospital Budgam, DrAyoubFateh; In charge ICU, Dr.Iqbal and other seniors medicos.
Speaking on the occasion, DrAyoub said mock drill was conducted to see our readiness and if any lacunas to mitigate the covid situation smoothly in the district.
He stated that almost all preparations are done in this regard and a facility of 100 LPM oxygen generation plant, 4 ICU beds , 40 Isolation beds, 15 Concentrators, 50 oxygen cylinders, digital X- ray Triage facility and required staff of doctors, nurses and other paramedics have been established at Covid Facility Centre in Chanpora by the District Administration Budgam.
