Anantnag : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Ahmad on Tuesday reviewed the redressal of grievances on Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (JK-IGRAMS).
Representatives from all line departments were present in the meeting.
The DC said that grievance redressal is an integral responsibility of the administration and all officers must redress the grievances received within the stipulated time. He said the redressal mechanism must be adhered to in letter and spirit and focus must be on extending relief to the aggrieved.
The DC took stock of the grievances received and redressals thereof. He asked departments to adhere to the stipulated timeline and directed officials to ensure sensitization of staff in this regard.
The meeting was attended by SDMs, Ex Engineer R&B, representatives from Industries, Tehsildars among others.
