2nd Day of 18th Police Martyrs Football Tournament: 6 matches played at 2 Srinagar grounds

Srinagar: In the 2nd day of the 18th Police Martyrs Memorial Football Tournament organized by J&K Police on Saturday, 3 matches were played at TRC Football Ground Srinagar and the 3 matches at Bakshi Stadium Srinagar.
According to a statement issued from Armed Police Headquarters J&K Srinagar here, the match started at 1100 hrs in between Titans FC Kashmir VS DFA Jammu A at Bakshi Stadium in presence of Javed Ah Dar, I/C CO-IRP 21st Bn. The match was won by Jammu A by 2:0 goals. Both goals of the match scored by Aditya Mahajan jersey No.07 in 11th & 29th Minute was awarded man of the match.
The match started at 1230 hrs in between J&K Forest VS DFA Kupwara at Bakshi Stadium in presence of Sukhdev Raj, I/C CO JKAP 9th Bn. The match was won by J&K Forest by 5:3 via tie breaker. The goal scorers of J&K Forest team are Rizwan, Nasir, Javaid, Khaliq Umar and Ashiq Mushtaq and from losing team goals scored by Mahi Usma, Malik Imtiyaz and Mohd Amin. The Man of the Match was awarded to Ashiq Mushtaq jersey No.16 of the Winning Team.
The match started at 1400 hrs in between DFA Kulgam VS Zone Pattan at Bakshi Stadium in presence of Safder Hameed HussainS amoon Dy. CO IRP 6th Bn. The match was won by Zone Pattan by 3:1, 1st Goal scored by MohdRafiq in 23rd minute jersey No.14, 2nd and 3rd goal scored by Nasir Ahmad jersey No.07 in 43th and 47th minute. Lone goal scored by DFA Kulgam by AbrarFayaz jersey No.04 in 34th minute. The Man of the Match was awarded to Nasir Ahmad jersey No.07 of the Winning Team.
The match started at 1100 hrs in between DFA Jammu B Vs Zone Handwara at Synthetic Turf TRC Sgr. in presence of Abdul Qayoom Commandant IRP-9th Bn. The match was won by DFA Jammu B by 2:0 goals. Both goals were scored by Paris Bashin jersey No.16 in 26th & 35th Minute and was awarded man of the match.
The match started at 1230 hrs in between Zone HajinVs Zone Rafi Abad at Synthetic Turf TRC Sgr. in presence of Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Commandant IRP-10th Bn. The match won by Zone Hajin by 6:1, 1st, 2nd and 4th goal scored by Gowhar Majeed jersey No.06, 3rd goal scored by Rashid Shakeel in 35th minute, 5th goal scored by Adil Yousuf and 6th goal scored by OwaisAltaf, while as lone goal scored by Danish of Zone Rafiabad. The man of the match was awarded to Gowhar Majeed for his brilliant performance and first hattrick.
The match started at 1400 hrs in between IFC Kashmir VS DFA Ganderbal at Synthetic Turf TRC Sgr. in presence of Shabir Ahmad, Dy.CO JKAP 5th Bn. The match was won by IFC Kashmir by 5:4, via Tie Breaker. The goal scorers of IFC Kashmir are Asif, Ishfaq Ali, Faisal, Zahid and Talib and from losing team goals scored by Nadeem, Mustafa, Aadil. The Man of the Match was awarded to Azhar Bashir jersey No.01(Goal Keeper) of the Winning Team.
In a concluding para of the statmenet, moreover the following officers/ officials present on the occasion are Wasim Aslam Chairman JKFA, Prof. B.A Shah Tournament Director, Sh.Bashir Ahmed Malik President DFA Sgr, Mohammad Shafi Nari (Retd. DySP ex-International Footballer), Nazir Ahmed Bhat HOR, Nazir Ahmed Indrabi, Sajid Yousuf Dar (International Coach), Showkat Masoodi Secretary DFA Sgr. Sports Officer, Sajad Hussain Dy SP, Inspr. Ranjeet Singh, Inspr. Mohammad Younis, Inspr. Nisar Ahmad, Inspr. Madhupal Singh, Mohammad Hussain I/C Sports APHQ, Mushtaq Ahmad Zargar Manager Bakshi Stadium and other concerned officers.
