Budgam: Under the chairmanship Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, a training programme was today conducted for the Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare Department at Sheikhul-Aalam Hall Budgam.
Chief Agriculture Officer Budgam, District Agriculture Officers, Sub-Divisional and Zonal Level Officers besides all field functionaries uptoPanchayatHalqa Level participated.
A broad review of all the Developmental programmes particularly flagship programme PM-Kisan was taken.
DDC urged for close co-ordination and liason between Agriculture, Revenue and other line departments so that the verification of farmers in PM-Kisan is completed within a weeks time.
The DC directed all field officials to conduct door to door mass campaign to zero-in on pendencies and ineligible categories of farmers and update their status.
The feedback received from the field agency was discussed and their concerns were addressed for the betterment of farming community.
The DC said that none of the eligible farmers should be left out of the benefit of PM-Kisan Scheme.
During the review, all participants were given training on how to use the website “aapkizameenaapkinigrani” the online land record service for procuring land revenue record of PM-Kisan beneficiaries.
