Ramban: Intensifying the ‘PrashasanGaon Ki Aur’ campaign under the aegis of Good Governance Week, District Administration Ramban Tuesday organized a series of events and camps to redress the online and offline grievances of people received from across the district.
All the departments laid special focus on the redressal of public grievances, improving the delivery of services to promote citizen-centric governance, besides ensuring effective implementation of Public Services Guarantee Act and creating an enabling response from the citizens.
The line departments also resolved public issues registered on the IGRAM Portal, besides implementing online services of their respective departments to enable maximum number of targeted people to take benefit of the government schemes.
On the second day of good governance week, the Motor Vehicle Department Ramban, disseminated awareness about road safety, good driving virtues, and respect for the rights of all road users. The Horticulture Department organized an awareness camp at Batote under the aegis of AKAM.
The Sheep Husbandry Department organized grievances redressal camps at Gandhi, and Sangaldan under the ‘ParshashanGaonkiAur’ campaign, besides providing employment to a person establishing a sheep unit under ISDS Scheme.
District Industries Centre, Ramban also organized awareness camps at Ramban to sensitize the unemployed youth about schemes being implemented by the Department under PMEGP and other schemes in industrial & service sectors, whereas FSSAI also conducted on-the-spot Registration-cum-License mela at Banihal.
