Kulgam: To discuss and dispose-off applications submitted for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units under PM-FME scheme, a meeting of District Level Committee on PradhanMantri- Formalization of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) was held Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at Mini-secretariat, here.
The meeting was attended by JD-Planning, CAO (District Nodal Officer PM-FME), CHO, CAHO, GM Industries, Area Marketing Officer, Lead District Manager, DDM NABARD, Representative of Co operative Department and other members of the committee.
After threadbare discussion regarding various products, their productivity, processing perspective, market viability etc., the DC approved 12 cases under the scheme for establishment of Micro Food Processing Units.
He impressed upon CAO and DRP to guide eligible aspirants for establishment of their units properly.
