Jammu: District Administration Jammu, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Avny Lavasa, on Monday organised a series of activities under “Prashasan Gaonki Aur” at different places in the District.
The activities included awareness camps, self employment promotion camps, cleanliness drives, revenue services camps etc.
A Cleanliness drive was organised at Maira Mandrian and other rural areas, where the people were also sensitised about the importance of hygiene and clean surroundings.
An Awareness camp on Self Employment avenues and schemes was organised at Samwan under the PrashasanGaonkiAur.” The public was sensitized about the schemes implemented by the government to provide livelihood to the unemployed youth.
An Awareness camp was organised at Aghore to inform the locals about different beneficiary schemes being implemented by the Animal Husbandry Department for development of the dairy sector.
A camp was organised by a team of RCD Kangrail under “PrashasanGaonkiAur – 2022 campaign.” The locals were acquainted with departmental schemes and subsidized and free medicines were distributed among the farmers of the village Pakhian.
The Deputy Commissioner Jammu said that “PrashasanGaonkiAur – 2022 campaign” is an effort of the government to reach out to the people at their disposal.
