Jammu: Joint Director, Central, State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Saturday convened an online meeting to review the ongoing works, activities and other programs and sought report and feedback from all the heads of District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) across the J&K.
Along with their regional joint directors, the meeting was attended by all the SCRET wings’ heads and other DIET staff from both of the Jammu and Kashmir provinces.
An elaborate discussion that ran into several hours was a prelude to a high-level review meeting regarding the operation of the SCERT and the affiliated DIETs that will be held shortly by the Principal Secretary School Education, Alok Kumar, who is also the Director of SCERT.
The meeting discussed the status of teacher training imparted as per approved Teacher Training Annual Plan (TTAP) -2022-23. It also discussed the status of the utilizations of funds released by the Finance Department and SamagraShiksha.
Preparation for the Year End Student Assessment for class 8, registration for participation in PPC 2023 event, status of INSPIRE Award Scheme, NISHTA 4.0 implementation, BhashaSangam Program, formulation of TTAP 2023-24 preparation and Bio Metric Attendance and Human Resource Management (HRM) came up for a threadbare discussion during the meeting.
