Hakeem demands work on Sukhnag Minihydle  Power house, Urges for out of box thinking for J&K people

PDF Chief also demands spl employment package for unemployed youth , financial assistance for fruit growers

Khansahb(B’gam) : Chairman J&K Peoples Democratic Front (JKPDF) and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has urged for out of box thinking to address perennial issues  of the people of Jammu and Kashmir adding that people want total  restoration of their  constitutional rights . He also demanded for a reconciliatory process specifically within the framework of overall national interests as well as  socio- political aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir but above any vested  political consideration.

Speaking at a convention of PDF workers of  Zagookharian ,Arizal, Ringzabal, Shamsabad, Kralnoo, Krishipora ,Gund Dervish areas of Khansahib in cental district Budgam on Wednesday Hakeem urged the Center to adopt out of box thinking to address perennial socio – political issues of the people of Jammu and Kashmir for bridging the gap of mistrust and bringing the hearts and minds close to each other . He underscored the need for a reconciliatory path within the framework of national interests as well as socio- political aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir minus any kind of vested political consideration. He said restoration of democracy and constitutional guarantees was key  to remove sense of mistrust  prevailing among the people of Jammu and Kashmir.  The convention was held to take stock of the prevailing social and political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir
PDF Chairman said Jammu and Kashmir was strategically a super sensitive border area where long lasting  peace and tranquility was must to safeguard the overall interests of the country . He said Central leadership should embark upon an out of box strategy to wholehearted  hug people of Jammu and Kashmir and fulfill all the  promises made to them by the Centre. ,“ unnecessary delay in fulfilling the commitment for  holding assembly elections  and restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir exhibit that intentions of the Centre were not  not in agreement with its  assurances from time to time. He said changing of laws should be aimed at to empower Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people  but not for  to downgrade it and it’s people . He said, by down grading the status of  of Jammu and Kashmir ,Centre has severely  hurt emotions and psyche of the people which needs to be rectified earnestly . ,“ The Center should embrace people of Jammu and Kashmir in a such a way that they feel proud citizens of this country ,HakeemvYaseen said adding that  law’s should be changed  to empower Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people rather than changing them to downgrade Jammu and Kashmir and it’s people.
Hakeem sought personal intervention of LG Manoj Sinha for starting work on Sukhnag Mini hydle power plant, which has been approved by the Cabinet  during the previous regime. He said construction of the mini hydle power plant was pivotal for socio – economic transformation of the area. Hakeem demanded special employment package for the educated unemployed youth especially in central government departments. He has also urged the Center to provide financial assistance to the farmers and fruit growers who were hit by low returns to thier fruit crop this year in the fruit mandies of the country.
