Ganderbal: Special market checking squads of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Ganderbal in collaboration with Food, Safety Department Ganderbalon Wednesday conducted an inspection of various markets in Ganderbal to keep a check on hoarding, profiteering and black marketing and quality check as well.
On the directions of Assistant Director FCS&CA Ganderbal enforcement team of the department & Department of Food Safety conducted an extensive drive of market checking across Ganderbal Town.
During the checking it was found that various butchers and poultry dealers have not displayed the government approved rates at conspicuous places for which a fine of Rs 3600 was recovered from the defaulters who were found guilty of non compliance of Government Orders.
