DC presides over grievance redressal camp at Kulgam, listens issues of people for early redressal

Kulgam : The District Administration Kulgam on Wednesday organized a Mega Block Diwas in three blocks of the district viz. Devsar, Kulgam and D. H. Pora to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.

The programme witnessed overwhelming response from PRIs and general public who highlighted issues and grievances confronting their areas for early redressal.

To take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr.BilalMohi-Ud-Din-Bhat remained available at Kulgam where he listened to grievances and issues of people for redressal.

Officers from District Administration were also present during the block diwas.

People from Rehpora, Liroo, Churat Chowham, Brazloo, Poniwah, Turigam Parigaam, Mahipora, Aadigatnoo, Adoora, Akhal and other villages participated in this grievances redressal camp and apprised the DC about their issues.

Visiting delegations from various areas demanded augmentation of HT power network in their areas.

A delegation from AkhalGujjarBasti demanded construction of road from Hitmitru to GujjarBasti.

People from Lirow demanded power supply from Chawalgam receiving station instead of Ramhama receiving station while People from Sudsuna demanded repairment of   Sudsan road.

Also public from various other areas also participated in this grievances redressal camp and highlighted issues and demands of their areas.

The DC after giving patient hearing to the public addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on the spot.

Earlier, ACD Kulgam Mohammad Imran Khan briefed about the action taken on the issue and grievances raised by people in previous block diwas.

Meanwhile, grievances redressal camps were also held at Block D. H. Pora  and Block Devsar where ADC and SDM listened to issues and grievances of people for redressal.
