ADDC Kishtwar reviews progress under Distt Capex Plan 2022-23

Kishtwar:  Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kishtwar, Sham Lal on Wednesday  chaired a meeting of officers to review the progress of works under the District Development Plan/ District Capex budget for the year 2022-23.

During the meeting, the ADDC took sector wise review of Physical and financial progress of works in RDD, Education, YS&S, Health and other sectors under District Capex.

The ADDC took a detailed review of allotment of works, works started on ground and works completed, tendering and other related issues.

He directed the officers to achieve the completion targets of the works and ensure expenditure of funds released. He also asked them to personally monitor the quality and progress of all allotted works.

The ADDC stressed upon officers to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.

During the meeting, JD-Planning informed that 2200 number of works are approved under District Capex for financial year 2022-23 and all the works have been taken-up and are at different stages of progress.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the slow pace of works, the ADDC directed all the district/sectoral officers to put in best  efforts for maximum utilization of funds under different schemes. The indenting departments were asked to ensure 75 percent of expenditure of alloted works by December 31 of 2022.

Special thrust was laid on the billing of the completed works. The concerned officers were directed to commensurate the financial expenditure according to physical targets achieved.

The meeting was attended by  Joint Director Planning, MohdIqbal; DPO, Sunil Bhutyal; PO ICDS, Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma; CMO Kishtwar, CEO, DYSSO, ExEns REW,PWD and BDOs
